Larissa Graham
About
Larissa Graham is an author who writes young adult mystery, thriller, fantasy, and dystopian fiction. She moved frequently in her youth, which instilled in her an appreciation for unique and varied settings. She loves to write about underdogs overcoming externally and internally imposed boundaries, and writing stories that explore themes of survival, social inequity, and empowerment. As a person living with Ehler's Danlos Syndrome, she is passionate about representing chronically ill and disabled characters. Before devoting herself full time to writing, she worked as a behavioral therapist, children's library assistant, and early childhood educator. She served as a writer and blog administrator for the MD/DE/WV chapter of SCBWI. When she is not writing, she enjoys painting, reading (of course), listening to podcasts, walking her dogs, and spending time with her family. She lives in Maryland with her husband, children, and assorted pets.
